Dar es Salaam. A helicopter carrying Natural Resources and Tourism minister Hamisi Kigwangalla has just arrived at Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha from Magugu Village in Manyara.
Dr Kigwangalla was injured after his vehicle overturned earlier today, Saturday August 4, at Magugu. He was heading to Dodoma from Arusha.
Reports say he was injured in the chest, left arm and the neck will be rushed to KKKT Selian Hospital for treatment.
Also, there are plans to airlift him to Muhimbili National Hospital.
During the accident, the ministry’s information officer Hamza Temba died and four other people, including the minister, were injured.
Manyara Regional Police Commander Agostino Senga said the vehicle had five people.
